Partners

 The Milton Keynes Learning City Libraries Network was launched in 2001 to allow and encourage the use of all major libraries in the Milton Keynes area by everyone who lives, works or studies in Milton Keynes.

The partners are –

• Milton Keynes Public Library
• Milton Keynes College Library
• Milton Keynes General NHS Trust library
• University of Buckingham Library
• De Montfort University Library (Polhill, Bedford campus)
• Cranfield University Library
• The Open University Library and Learning Resources Centre

A website was set up and a promotional leaflet printed and distributed. Over the last three years this has enabled hundreds of local people to access other libraries particularly the university libraries which operate open access policies.
